On August 28, the Foton Brand Day and new product launch event was successfully held in Beijing. At the event, Foton Cavan Auto unveiled two new products simultaneously — the Xinghai, a new-energy luxury flagship heavy truck, and the Lefu V7, an innovative MPVan. With this, all three of Foton Cavan Auto's micro, light and heavy-duty platforms have entered mass production, completing a full-line layout that runs from vans, mini trucks and light trucks all the way up to heavy trucks, and building a set of solutions that贯通 covers urban distribution, intercity transport, trunk-line logistics and business/tourism passenger operations. The Xinghai breaks through the boundaries of medium- and long-haul trunk operations with an integrated "flagship product + megawatt ultra-charging + smart microgrid" solution, while the Lefu V7, built on the Master platform architecture, creates a pioneering MPVan category that precisely targets the new-energy passenger segment. "New-energy heavy trucks are growing fast today, but roughly 90% of the market is still concentrated in short-haul scenarios within 300 kilometres. Transport beyond 300 km has never truly been cracked, because of insufficient range and inefficient energy replenishment. The name "Xinghai" (Star-Sea) is of one lineage with the concept vehicle Beacon: "Xing" (star) is the flagship benchmark, anchoring the height of the technology; "hai" (sea) is the vast market, covering the country's freight geography. In 2024, Foton Cavan Auto released its next-generation native new-energy heavy-truck core technology together with the Beacon concept car, laying the technical foundation for product development. Beacon means lighthouse — and that light has now illuminated the complete journey from technology to product.
Today, the light of that lighthouse has become a shining star: the Cavan Xinghai new-energy luxury flagship heavy truck officially went on sale, answering every expectation with "five-star" flagship value across energy consumption, efficiency, intelligence, safety and comfort.
- Energy consumption: a sail-form streamlined body works in concert with a self-developed electric drive axle, cutting electricity consumption per 100 km by 15%–20% versus peer-class models and saving users roughly RMB 20,000 per year.

- Safety: a high-strength-steel cage-type body certified to EU regulations; the 6S6M braking solution shortens braking distance by 18.5 m versus the industry norm; and a vehicle–terminal–cloud three-dimensional system provides protection across the full life cycle.
- Comfort: a 2.9 m-deep cab with 12 m³ of living space; air suspension with four-point floating calibration reduces vibration by 25%, while quietness and interior-odour standards are fully aligned with passenger cars — turning every long haul into an unhurried journey.
Beyond the vehicle itself, the Cavan Xinghai also builds a full-chain zero-carbon ecosystem to flagship standards. On the replenishment side, it relies on a green charging ecosystem coordinated across "generation – grid – load – storage," offering three categories of customised charging solutions for different depot conditions, and working along three parallel tracks — strategic partners, dealers and charging-pile manufacturers — to accelerate the rollout of the megawatt ultra-charging network. On the manufacturing side, Foton's advanced production lines and full-process quality-control system safeguard flagship build quality.
Pricing was announced at the launch event, together with six launch-exclusive privileges, and pre-sales officially opened.
Cavan Lefu V7 — Extending Product Boundaries and Redefining Passenger Mobility
Built on the Master platform architecture, Foton Cavan Auto officially released an entirely new vehicle category — the MPVan — which fuses the comfort and intelligence of a passenger car with the spaciousness and practicality of a van: the refinement and smart experience of a passenger vehicle, combined with the load space and commercial value of a van, purpose-built for passenger transport.
